Mean reds

I’ve got the mean reds today.
Cine a vazut Breakfast at Tiffany’s stie despre ce e vorba.
Azi m-as ineca in caldura propriilor lacrimi. Le-as lasa sa ma sufoce incet, calm, arzator.
Tomorrow is another day right?

  1. In the novella Breakfast at Tiffany’s by Truman Capote, Holly Golightly called her bouts of anxiety “the mean reds”, and in the movie called it a feeling of being afraid yet not knowing what you are afraid of.PS O sa zica lumea ca te-ai inspirat din postarea mea.

  2. “No… the blues are because you’re getting fat or because it’s been raining too long. You’re just sad, that’s all. The mean reds are horrible. Suddenly you’re afraid and you don’t know what you’re afraid of. Do you ever get that feeling?” –Holly.”Sure.” –Fred (Paul).”When I get it the only thing that does any good is to jump into a cab and go to Tiffany’s. Calms me down right away.” But what do I do?Cafea nu prea beau, nici macar din aia cu suflet. It could take a day, a week or even a month…Si, pentru “lume”, am vazut filmul impreuna, in acelasi oras. ;))
